In the early 1990s, Bradshaw Taylor's Managing Director, Corry Cavell-Taylor, noticed the inadequacy of traditional wax jackets in wet British weather. Motivated by Schoffel GORE-TEX ski wear which was warm and waterproof, he collaborated with the Schöffel family to develop a truly innovative shooting coat that was 100% waterproof, windproof, breathable and machine washable.
