Chatham Shoes is a family-run business, and they have over 25 years of shoe making ability, their design is inspired by their nautical and country roots. Today Chatham is one of Britain’s key lifestyle footwear brands.

Chatham are committed to designing classic sailing and country footwear, with a British style. They use traditional craftsmanship, the finest materials and attention to detail, to create comfortable, hard-wearing, durable footwear that lasts. The materials used to make Chatham shoes are mainly sourced from the UK.

They are always looking for ways to improve the comfort of their deck shoes, and in the Spring of 2018, Chatham shoes now have Sole Spring Technology, with Poron performance cushioning, this is an anti-bacterial sole and it offers total comfort and shock absorption.

Chatham at Allcocks

Here at Allcocks, Chatham is still a relatively new brand for us, as we started stocking their shoes and boots in 2018. Since then we have grown the collection of Chatham that we stock, and we are now stocking Chatham deck shoes, loafers and boots.

The Chatham Range

Chatham’s bestselling footwear is the deck shoes found in their G2 collection. Each Chatham Deck shoe within this collection has a 2 year manufacturer's warranty. These deck shoes are the most durable you can find, and they are all manufactured with the highest quality materials. Designed and made from the finest oil waxed leather for durability in water, with a true tubular moccasin construction hand sewn on the last with wax thread, these Chatham deck shoes have a razor cut rubber sole for the best grip and are finished with first-rate laces. A feature of these Chatham deck shoes is that some styles are made from machine washable nubuck, perfect for keeping your G2s clean and fresh. Each season they introduce new colours, if you like to a splash of colour, then the Chatham ladies deck shoe - Pippa G2 is for you, with colour contrasting soles.

Sticking close to our country roots, here at Allcocks Country we also stock some of Chatham’s country collection. Chatham know that country life can take you anywhere, from a rural walk, to an afternoon in the pub. This is why their country collection is practical yet stylish, and each piece has been designed with country life and pursuits in mind. Within their country collection they offer Chelsea boots, Goodyear Welted brogues and long boots. Chatham’s boots are waterproof so are perfect if your heading out for a walk, we will be introducing these to our range later on in 2019.

In 2018 Chatham launched their Made in Britain BYU collection, this collection allows you to design and create your very own pair of Chatham deck shoes. These deck shoes are made from premium oil waxed leather, and made in their workshop in Exeter, you choose your preferred upper colour, laces and sole, then your shoes will be hand coloured and hand finished by one of Chatham’s expert artisans. This exquisite craftsmanship means that no two pairs will be the same, and you’ll own your very own, unique pair of Chatham mens deck shoes. In Spring/Summer of 2019 Chatham are introducing this collection for the ladies.
