The Pampeano Petalo has been hand-crafted in South America by Pampeano's master artisans using an ancient, native practice of hand-craft which been passed down through generations of local artisans. The finest cuts of leather are first hand-selected for their purest quality, before been naturally vegetable-tanned in an extensive and lengthy process which produces the most exquisite results. It is this provides the leather with its rich colour and butter-soft handle, which only improves as it ages.
The iconic pampa diamonds are instantly recognisable blocks of colour are achieved by hand, where a single artisan uses wax-dipped saddlery threads to tightly weave the patterns into the thick leather; a meticulous process which can take up to five hours to complete. The robust threads are waxed so that they remain vibrant in colour, do not fray or rip, and are easy to clean by wiping down with a soapy, non-coloured sponge.
Available in 35cm to 60cm, the dog collar sizes 45cm and below measure 1.5cm wide for smaller necks and 2.5cm wide for sizes 50cm - 60cm.

Care Instructions
Like all luxury leather goods, this is a natural product so Pampeano have included some care instructions on how to maintain the lustre of your Pampeano polo dog collar.
Maintaining the leather
To maintain the richness of the leather, you should nourish it with a good leather conditioner every so often. Apply a small amount onto a dry cloth and rub into the leather. Use a separate cloth to buff it until all of the conditioner has been absorbed.
As with all leather goods, try and keep your polo dog collar dry. If it does get wet, just blot with a towel as soon as possible and let it air dry. Do not machine wash.
Maintaining the thread
The vibrant hand-stitched pampa patterns on their polo dog collars consist of high density waxed saddlery threads, meaning they are robust and easy to clean.
Just use soapy water and a non-coloured sponge to scrub the threads in the direction of the stitching (across the width of the dog collar and not the length). Use a damp cloth to remove any excess soap, and towel dry as soon as possible.
Snagged a thread? Because of the sport from which Pampeano's polo dog collars originated, they are made to be durable and hardwearing. In the unlikely event that a thread has come loose, simply tuck the end back under the threads next to it and fix in place using a little superglue. Make sure you tuck it in on the back of the dog collar and repair will be undetectable.
