Featuring clever ventilation and a functional design, the Velez Jacket uses Nikwax Analogy Waterproof fabric to provide optimal comfort, excellent weather protection, warmth, and cooling in one efficient package.
The jacket boasts excellent ventilation, a fully adjustable hood, and practical pocketing. Temperature regulation is managed through dual-phase chest pockets and forward-facing upper arm vents, combined with a lightweight mesh lining. The fully adjustable, helmet-compatible hood with a wired peak ensures clear vision and superior weather protection. Secure pockets keep maps and valuables safe without interfering with the use of packs or harnesses.
The lining used throughout the jacket minimises the still air trapped between the layers of fabric allowing use across a wide range of operating temperatures and conditions. Further cooling options are provided by forward facing arm and large dual phase torso vents, a two-way front YKK zip, and sleeves designed to expose the forearms if additional cooling if required.
Designed for activities where cooling and condensation removal are as important as weather protection, it has mesh reinforced shoulder and back panels, allowing the user to carry a pack without risk of water ingress in wet weather.
Practical features, including a fully adjustable wire peaked halo hood, glove-friendly zips and secure storage, ensure protection and functionality.
Your Velez Jacket has been rigorously tested in the Leeds University Rain room to resist at least four hours of heavy rain, which is approximately five times the intensity of normal heavy rain in the UK.

Always wash this garment with Nikwax Tech Wash to remove dirt and revive the water-repellency. If, even after washing, the garment outer absorbs water, it is time to reproof with Nikwax TX Direct.
